Prayers for Baby Conlee
Please pray for baby Conlee Garmon. She is the daughter of a girl I work with, Meredith Garmon. Conlee was born in November and she was air-lifted to Children's Hospital on Monday night. She is having breathing problems and we found out that she will be there for Christmas. Meredith is keeping updates of Conlee on her blog:

The True Story of Santa's Reindeer
I received this vital information today....
According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December.
Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring.
Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.We should've known... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat-ass man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

Stacia in St. Louis
This past weekend Stacia and some of her bridesmaids headed up north to St. Louis to have a fun-filled Bachelorette Party! We had a blast and made soooo many memories. It was a great break for Stacia from wedding planning.....the countdown is on: 2 Weeks!
Friday night we all wore "ugly" bridesmaid dresses and Stacia wore an "ugly" wedding gown that we found from the Salvation Army or resale shops. She had no idea what we were planning. We wore the dresses out all over St. Louis! We had dinner and then went to see the Rockettes and then to a club for 80's night were we saw a Prince look-a-like. Saturday we got up and had an early lunch at an Irish pub then went on a tour of the Anheuser-Busch brewery. We saw the Clydesdales and the entire process of beer making. At the end we even got 2 free glasses of beer. That night we had the lingere shower and then went to dinner and out on the town after.
We had a blast celebrating our soon to be Army wife. We love you Stacia and can't wait for the wedding!

Tri Delta Through and Through
I know I'm a die-hard Tri Delta and I might get made fun of for this but I thought it was pretty cool. Watch the video below to hear words from the Delta Delta Delta founder Sarah Ida Shaw in a speech she gave to commemorate the 50th anniversary in 1938. Pretty neat to hear the voice of the woman who founded our sorority in 1888!
At least my sisters might appreciate it :)
