Special Wedding Announcement

I am very excited to announce that my grandfather will be marrying Ryan and I next July. He has been a preacher for several decades and I will be the third grandchild that he has married. Both Ryan and I have a lot of respect and admiration for him and my grandmother. They have both been on several mission trips throughout the world and are an exceptional christian couple to look up to. It means so much to me that my Papa will be a part of my wedding day and that he will make me an official married woman.

I ALWAYS Catch the Biggest Fish

And sadly this was the biggest one we caught that day....but we still had a blast!

He's in the Air Force Now...

Las week my future brother-in-law, Devin, graduated from the Air Force basic training in Lackland, Texas. The ceremonies lasted all week so Ryan and I weren't able to go but their parents went down for the week and got to see everything. The experience was especially neat for Ryan and Devin's dad because he was in the Air Force as well and fought in Vietnam.

The Air Force buzzed Devin's head and made him wear glasses because of an astigmatism, both of which I have never seen on Devin so I hardly recognized him in the pictures. We are so proud of Devin and can't wait to see where the Air Force takes him. You'll recognize him at the wedding because he will be the one in uniform. Congrats Devin!

Football Week 4

Farmington Cardinals (1-2) vs. Gentry Pioneers (1-2)

vs.
Notes from the Coach:
"Gentry is a big, strong, physical football team. They are a true three yards in a cloud of dust team. They beat Charleston by keeping the ball away from them. Charleston only had 9 offensive plays in the entire second half. Gentry's offensive line is huge and their tight end is 6'6 260."

Arkansas Razorbacks (3-0) vs. Alabama Crimson Tide (3-0)

Wedding Question

Ok I have a question for the universe: What exactly is the right way for a joint monogram?

For some reason I thought it was the girl's first initial, new last name initial, his first name initial. For Ryan and I I thought it would be MPR. But now I am seeing on the wedding blogs some are using his initial first - RPM. So what is correct? I need to know because I want to incorporate our monogram in our wedding decor and for gift purposes.

Somebody help! What is correct?
MPR
or
RPM

Foorball Week 3

Farmington Cardinals (1-1) vs. Clarksville Panthers (0-2)

vs.

From the Coach...
"Clarksville has 2 outstanding talents. The quarterback is Tray Schucker, a three year starter who is 6'3" and 220. Their runningback/receiver is Wesleigh Foster who is literally the fastest guy in the state. He set the overall state record in teh 100 meter last year at the Meet of Champs. Obviously the key for us is to limit the damange those two can do - hopefully by making first downs and keepy them on the bench."
Arkansas Razorbacks (2-0) vs. Georgia Bulldgos (1-1)

Work Phone Picture Dump

This afternoon I started looking through my work phone and all the pictures I had taken with it. There are some pretty cool things I have been doing at work lately as you can see through these pictures. You will now see why I love my job so much!
2010 Walmart Shareholders Meeting. We got to watch Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey and Enrique Inglesias perform. Pretty awesome concert for 7:00 in the morning!

I got to organize a live segmet for a local TV station with Troy Black. Troy is one of the to 25 professional BBQ pitmasters in the country and all the meat he uses for competitions comes from Sam's Club. He grilled live on TV and the whole station came out to taste at the end. You never would have guessed that Troy had a major heart attack just 9 weeks earlier! He was awesome!

Recently the NWA Arkansas LPGA championship presented by Walmart was in town. As part of the promotion, professional golfer Natalie Gulbis had an autograph signing session at the Sam's Club in Bentonville. Natalie is gorgeous, an amazing golfer and even nicer person. She started talking to me about her new favorite bible verse she just discovered. I want to be her friend!

She had been wanting a Sam's Membership so we hooked her up

Now I wasn't at this event but it was so cool that I had to post this picture. A new Sam's Club opened up in Edison, NJ and Carlo's Bakery (yes the same Carol's Bakery from the TLC show "Cake Boss") made a cake for the grand opening. How awesome is this?!?

Arkansas Razorbacks (1-0) vs. Louisiana Monroe Warhawks (0-0)

Football: Week 1

It has finally arrived - FOOTBALL SEASON! And again, this year I am going to do my weekly match ups for my 2 teams - the Farmington High School Cardinals and the Arkanas Razorbacks. This year, I am going to give you the Cardinal preview from the Coach's words - his outlook for the week's game.
So without further ado week 1's match-ups are.....
Farmington Cardinals (0-0) vs. Huntsville Eagles (0-0)

VS.

From the Coach...

Huntsville has changed their offense - gone to a more wide open spread type attack. Their best player is their QB - he is very accurate and does a great job in their quick passing game. The Eagles play a 3-4 deffense with their big and physical front. They also have an outstanding group of linebackers.

Arkansas Razorbacks (0-0) vs. Tennessee Tech Eagles (0-0)

VS.
Check back for the final scores.
